Coming from a theatrical family, Jerie Ford’s musical background is diverse, ranging from classical, pop and jazz to inspirational. Jerie, a graduate of Louisiana State University in Music, has been performing professionally for over 30 years. Some of her musical experiences include being a guest artist with the Baton Rouge Summer Pops Series, the St. Joseph Arts Music Series, vocalist with the Buddy Lee Orchestra and the Norman Luboff Choir, with whom she did two National and Canadian Tours.

Since 1998 she has been performing for thousands of children throughout Louisiana and Mississippi with an original one-woman mini-musical, The Topsy-Turvy, Funny, Fantabulous, Wonderful World of Feelings. In 2003 she was a winner in the Stars Across America talent search and appeared nationally on the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.

Along with performing her original one-woman “Corporate Cabaret” show The Six Habits of Highly Dysfunctional People about personality types and teamwork for meetings and conventions, she also performs selections from her inspirational CD Daybreak in churches and other venues. She also performs for special events such as luncheons and retreats.

Jerie is a 1998 Division of the Arts Fellowship recipient in Musical Theatre. Jerie is also listed in the Louisiana Division of the Arts touring directory and as a Louisiana touring artist with South Arts, a regional adjudicated arts organization.
